I can hardly stop thinking, my dear oldest son is coming to visit on Tuesday. And guess what? He's bringing his girlfriend. I'm so psyched!!! So the next day and a half will be get stuff together time, a list to go to the store for snackies and their coming at lunch and will be staying for supper. I'm cooking a feast! lol, well a small feast, lol. My baby is not a baby anymore. He's a man, and I'm so proud of him :) This next year will be his senior year in college.
The strange thing is I was expecting to feel like some old bag by this time in his/my life, I didn't count on still feeling so young myself. Didn't count on feeling like I haven't changed a bit in the last 10 years. It's the weirdest thing but I've always been ahead of things, when I was 17 I was living on my own and going to highschool. I was always a thinker, still am. Then with no parents and barely a job, I was accepted into a really cool art school. I've yet to get any degree, although I'm not as far away from it as I once was.
Well its time to go feed my cats. Why do cats wake up before you, and wake you up to?!?!? Are they little furry alarm clocks or something?
